Greetings from Brussels!

Guess what? We’re in Brussels! And we really want to take you along the ride!

More specifically, we’re participating in the Advocacy Challenge along 17 young abassadors from our partner organisations all across the EU! So, what is it exactly that brought all of us to the hometown of the European Parliament?

Well, throughout this entire week, there are many things on our agenda:

  • meetings with different NGOs and organisations
  • talk to political decision-makers, such as Bärbel Kofler, Martin Häusling and Axel Voss
  • discuss food system related EU policies in a youth roundtable

We want to really understand the root of our systemic issues, the process of law-making to combat them, and most of all:
We want to have a say in the future of our European food system!
This means:

  • clear positioning of politicians and delegates when it comes to matters of our food origins
  • supply chain laws that protect the environment
  • supply chain laws that protect our climate
  • supply chain laws that protect human rights

Thanks to our great partners at Mai bine and Südwind for making this adventure a reality!
