“When You Work in the Burning Sun”

Agriculture exploitation is a problem that not only exists in faraway places in the world. In Europe, seasonal and migrant workers face cruel and inhumane work conditions on a daily basis – for example in the farming industry in Italy. In the short comic “Tomato Harvest and Exploitation”, our partners at Slow Food painted a picture of the daily struggles in a world with no labour rights and an insuperable divide between rich and poor….

• To put an end to exploitation, poverty, and inequality, there is still much left to be done. We need strong policies protecting labour rights, ensuring transparency and holding business accountable for their responsibilities and mistreatments. For this fight, we need you!
